Did you especially dig how the old dude would berate the kids who would come out and accompany him on his violin right there in the dining room while you were trying to eat?

By the way, if you’re ever passing through the area between Montgomery, AL and Lagrange, GA (between the Hyundai and Kia plants), pull of and hit up one of the Korean places that caters to their folks. They have several and they are all great.

That was the best part of the ambience. The kid would serve your dinner then get called somewhat irrately to rush to play an instrument.

The downtown spot in the old Sears building never captured fully the magic of the tulane Ave spot.


I miss La Riviera the most, but GK is up there.


Thats good info...I would have assumed that was a total dead spot for food.
