Well, it's abundantly clear they are testing our response. It's clear we have no stomach to engage them, but instead repeatedly fire warning shots as they consistently get closer. I'm legitimately curious how close they would actually have to get for us to engage them. 100 yards? 50 yards? Scratch the paint job?
It's like we completely forgot the USS Cole and what kind of threat these small boats present.

Hell, they were escorting a nuclear missile submarine...
I didn’t realize they spent anytime above water outside of proximity to their bases.
Forget a Destroyer, the Iranians attacking a boomer would be a disaster if they were successful.
I wonder how close they actually got to the sub. I also wonder how difficult it would be to equip a small boat with an anti ship missile...
