US national numbers: no politics... just the numbers...

Total CoVID Cases:
25,863,671

Total CoVID Deaths:
460,716

Total CoVID cases for population <18 years old:
3,172,306

Total CoVID deaths for population <18 years old:
490

Risk of dying from CoVID for population <18 years old in US:
(490/3,172,306) x 100% = 0.015%

Conclusion:

For population < 18 y.o. in US there is a 99.985% chance that they would NOT die from CoVID-19 infection.

And... they needed to be vaccinated... why?

Oh it's waaaaaayyy better than that. Your numbers are based on confirmed cases. CDC estimates testing is catching 10-20% of covid cases in the US. Now do that math and see how ridiculous it is to say the vaccine warrants emergency authorization for kids.
