10-6 Tigers at the end of the first half, but Florida controlled the second half and the Tiger defense reeked.
I remember Spurrier didn't allow LSU to wear its white jerseys that night because of the previous year's upset. So Dinardo didn't put us in purples, but rather in a noxious mustard-colored jersey.

Whatever happened to the former LSU tight end/fullback from Crowley, who was a Tiger star from 1997-2001?
He worked for Wells Fargo lending on Sherwood Forest if I remember correctly back in the early 2000's.

A fairly common name around here and it is pronounced as DiMaggio. He father didn’t change the pronunciation:

He’s in BR. One of his daughters dated Stingley for awhile.

Pronounced Da-maa-joe
No it's not, and his Dad didn't change the pronunciation either.
I graduated with Joe from Crowley High in '97. We were in the same Kindergarten class and many classes after that.
The first time I got my bell rung was 8th grade football by Joe. He stood me up and took my helmet off asking "You OK Wanda?" We sometimes called each other by our mom's name. I said, "Not really Georgiana."
He was always a really great guy with a big heart. We were proud of our small town hero going to LSU.

Yeah, I recall being pumped at the half because we had a lackluster 1st half but were only down 4 at the Swamp. As we were walking up to seats during 2nd half kickoff, they ran it back to inside our 10 yard line. Think they punched it in and took all the optimism away.
