have believed that most college students/graduates over the past 30-40 years vote in large part Dim, I’m not sure of the percentages but it has to be at least 60-70% of college graduates are regularly voting Dim.

Nah it was about 55% in the last election and I believe Trump won with white males with college degrees.

The percentages do go way up with advanced degrees.

I cannot believe 65% in this country never attended collge.I thought it would be much lower.

I would say less than 5% of my HS class didn't attend college.

Age is a factor as well. 20+ years ago the business schools and sciences were relatively normal, so college educated over 40 is much more split. I don’t know exactly when, maybe 10 years ago, the D&I got into every department at every university. It’s been a downward spiral ever since.

I fit this demographic but I went to Samford, a Baptist university, and majored in chemistry a few years back. Still, even at Samford there were left leaning faculty. They were just not as vocal back then.

I know beginning in the late 80’s early 90’s the educational system was really pushing college to high school grads regardless if those kids were truly college material. Degrees have really been cheapened over the years. I remember back in the 70’s an MBA was a highly respectable degree now a lot of college grads have a Masters degree in something or another.

You thought it would be lower than 65% of Americans have not attended college? Maybe they’re including Associates/occupational degrees? Either way it explains why there’s $1.5 trillion in outstanding student loan debt.

Attended, or actually graduated from college?

For Louisiana the high school drop out rate is 20%, of those that graduate, 60% start college, of the 60% that start 33% earn a 4 year degree.
