Well it isn't like he hid his political leanings. The shite is right there on the internet and they still hired his arse. So we will see what comes of it. I did already see a news story with "FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF LSU!!!" If I was him that would piss me off. You would figure he would want to have been hired for his qualifications.

Everyone saw this hire coming from a mile away. The “search” was nothing more than a show for appearances. Tate was the guy from day one.

You sound like a complete asinine...his credentials were far and away superior than the entire field combined...I examined all of finalists CV's - the others wouldn't have gotten even an interview anywhere else in the country other than at LSU.
