He was a game changer. He may be more responsible for the change in offensive philosophy we've witnessed over the past 20 years than any other player or coach of the same time period. Every coach in America immediately went out and tried to find the next Michael Vick. Look at all the dual threat QBs in college football today. Vick was pretty much it back then.

This right here, before Vick opened the door players with his skill set mostly just ended up being used in run heavy offenses. Suddenly a QB with the legs to run an option offense had a cannon for a arm.
