Anyone go recently?...How much of a hassle is this travel registration form?
Do most resorts offer tests on site to travel back to the US?

I went in 2009. I know this isn't helpful. I am sorry.

Different island obviously but I went to Aruba a couple of months back.

The form and BS to get in was easy. They didn't care and barely glanced at it. They just wanted to be sure I paid the fee.

Testing to leave was offered everywhere. Again, they were mainly interested in getting the money associated with the test. 99% sure they didn't even process the test at a lab. Just gave me a NEGATIVE by email.

Went over the winter. You definitely had to have a form and covid test to get in, but they were not scrutinizing the forms or reading closely. This was before the US began requiring a negative covid test for re-entry though.

We just got back last week. It wasn't too much hassle. Just apply for it on their website. It doesn't take too long just a few questions. Print that confirmation email, then when you take your covid test, print and submit the results to them through the website. Give this info to the airport, then they give you your boarding pass. Once in St. Lucia, show them the emails and negative test results. We stayed at Sandals and they offered testing at the resort. Took it 3 days before we left.

We’re flying there on Tuesday. The St Lucia travel form basically just required inputing your information like name, other basic info, reason for travel, and your resort and airline info.

Covid (PCR) test has to be done within 5 days of travel. We did it Friday at a specific urgent care site in Nola that has an on site lab. They sent us our results the same day. We uploaded to the St Lucia form website this morning and got instant email approval that we are approved to travel.

To return to the states, we have someone coming to our resort the day before we fly back next week to administer another test to fly back home.

I know it feels like a lot, but it’s all been pretty easy.

BUMP

Traveling to St Lucia in 2 weeks, so I’ve been wanting to ask which lab you used in NOLA for the PCR? I know I can search and find several options, but it obviously worked smoothly for you.

Also, any recommendations for the trip? We’re staying at Cape Maison in Smugglers Cove.

Just seeing this ...

We got our PCR tests at Urgent Care - Mid City. 231 N Carrollton Ave
New Orleans

Tell them it’s for travel. Results got emailed back the same afternoon and we uploaded them to the St Lucia travel site. It was instant approval once we did.

Remember , exam has to be performed within 5 days of travel. With the day of your flight counting as day 1.
