“Former Tiger” Sam Burns, for instance. Seems to me, that unless an athlete transferred to another school, then once a Tiger, always a Tiger. Am I missing something?

Anybody not currently enrolled at LSU is a former Tiger.

I'd prefer we not refer to people like Guice as current tigers

Better let Scott Long in on the news then so he quits saying to all the Dandy Don readers that “it’s a great day to be a Tiger.”

I took one accounting course at LSU back in 1995. Does that qualify me as a Tiger ? It was off campus evening school taught by Ron Hay.

What a weird fricking thing to be mad about.

Almost as bad as the people that say Eric Reid is not a Tiger.

I get where youre coming from, but its the grammatical way to differentiate between people currently enrolled and reduce confusion. A+ for spirit tho

Oh he’s a Tiger. He is just a fake race narrative hustling, retarded Tiger.

That’s the L club motto for letterman but have you ever heard a pro athlete call them a Tiger instead of alumni/former tiger

They mean players that used to play for and attend lsu. They aren't attending lsu and aren't playing for lsu anymore, hence former tigers.

It's like that with anything though. For instance, if someone that played for the saints at one point, and no longer plays for them but plays for another team or has retired, they're former saints.
