So the Saints should pick more exciting players for you so you won't watch them?

Third, an LSU player would bring more eyeballs to the screen in Louisiana.

Drew brought more eyeballs than people here care to admit. Their New Orleans viewership may stay about the same, but other areas around the state will drop.

Drew did? Or winning did? You mean to tell me more people in the state watched the saints when they were perirenal playoff contenders than when they were 3-13? Mind blowing

With Drew leaving, the Saints needed to pick someone to move the needle for the fans and keep them engaged. This guy ain’t it.

You could have just said I don't know what the hell I'm talking about but I guess you being the poster made that obvious.

What college you went to doesn’t have a lot of weight as to what teams want to pick. It’s not about where you went to school dumbass. Some of the best players in NFL history, especially on defense and DL, were players who didn’t go to a power 5 school

It read fine to me.

You’re the dumbass bitching that the Saints need to draft players to move the needle for the fans and then follow it up saying you won’t watch anyway.

So why do you even care?

Saints took a project in the second round of the 2014 Draft. Stanley Jean-Baptiste was an absolutely bust while Jarvis Landry is an all pro every year.

And now here we are with the Saints reaching again taking a far from sure bet to make up for the Davenport who was yet another in the cutesy line of dumb reaches Payton and Loomis have made. Meanwhile Marshall from LSU was there for the taking.

And all we've heard is the need for someone opposite Mike.

Payton and Loomis are so dumb and stubborn with this shite.

I would bet Marshall will be a multi-year all pro while this 1st round pick will be out of the NFL within 5 years or less.

Did you realize how many passes Marshall dropped on his hands. In the NFL it will be worse.

so we are just going to ignore all the other "project" players they drafted they knocked it out of the park on during Sean Payton's tenure and focus on the ones that didn't because LSU.

Love draft day on this board so much

Have yourself a merry little downvote….

Call back in two years with regard to this year’s draft.

Ah yes, draft the guy from LSU at #28 that is still available at #43 and counting. Great call!

You should post on a Saints message board about the fact that you won’t watch Saints games.

The saints objectively drafted terribly from 2012-2015. But the saints have been largely killing the draft 2016-2020. Payton and loom is are far from idiots. Most regular season wins last 4 seasons.

Come on this is a clown take. I will never object to drafting a lineman. Ever.

It hilarious how many people on this board think a player shouldn’t be picked just because he’s form LSU. T. Marshall is objectively a very very good WR. He had 9 TDs in the first four games this year without a QB called Joe Burrow...he had 13 TDs on a team with Chase and Jefferson, a pro bowler and the best WR in the country who isn’t the pro bowler (among many other examples of this dude being a beast.)

The fact that so many of you think he isn’t good just because he’s from LSU and anyone who thinks he’s good must be nothing more than homer shows either you haven’t seen him play (probably) or you just don’t like LSU (possibly).

And it’s as comical as you think it is that an LSU fan likes an LSU player. On a board called Tigersroppings talking about the Saints and acting like a Tiger shouldn’t be who someone wants on the Saints team. Y’all are redic. Lol.

Lol im pretty sure Jarvis has never been all pro, and if so it was like once. I think Payton, Loomis, and Ireland have done a decent job drafting thus far, just my opinion though.
