Nope. Once again, people on this site use “Balkanization” as if there are any possible positive connotations to the word. It’s not possible for something like that to be peaceful.

That word in bold is not required.

I don’t believe the Russians want to cripple us. I think they’re just make (good) selfish choices to protect themselves, and to improve their economic situation.
The Russians really just want calm. And we’re an agent of chaos.
The Chinese are direct competitors though, unlike the Russians, and they want us broken at their feet. It does appear to be emotional too, look at how they humiliated the Biden people in Alaska.

That's a strange want considering it would be suicidal to the CCP. Africa isn't filling that global consumption void.

I mean who wouldn't want trade in a currency in which about 70% of it ever issued was the last 12 months
Well, China has been doing the same thing on a much larger scale than the west. Russia and China are natural enemies. Look at all the resources straight north of China.
Peter Zeihan and many other smart folks think China is in a world of hurt. Peter does a great breakdown of global demographics and economics. Check out this talk. I will start it at one point he is discussing China.

By 2026 China will be the world leader in GDP. Despite being asshoe, their currency will take over USD & EURO. When the pandemic moniker is dropped in the US, we are in for a shitstorm of unparalleled proportions. Landlords will evict delinquent tenants (34% of all black tenants are delinquent). Unemployment benefits will be curtailed. Another stimulus will be enacted. The inflation coming will be parabolic.
The good news is it will lead to peaceful Balkanization
By the turn of this century, China will have established its global dominance over the USA.

I love how so many people here are so confident that Russia and China wouldn’t join sides simply because they don’t like each other on a personal level. The problem is no one likes the government of either of these countries on a personal level.

Guess what happens when you print a bunch of money and no one wants to buy it?
