After dropping today’s game

LSU has to go 8-4 over the next 12 sec games to I think get close to being in the conversation for postseason play.

Getting this sweep meant we just needed to take one against Arkansas next weekend.
You can't anticipate much better than 6-3 the last three weekends. Maybe 7-2, but you just can't count on this team sweeping anyone at this point.
We will probably finish 7-5 the rest of the way. That puts us at 13-17 in conference, which won't be good enough to make the NCAA Tournament. We need to get to 14-16.
That, or we'll have to work some magic in the SEC Tournament.

Marceaus and Labas can give LSU 6-7 solid innings when. they are good. The main issue for LSU is nothing more than the pitiful pitching staff after those two.
LSU scored 9 runs today and that should win every game they play, but sadly it doesn't. If LSU just had two good relievers, LSU would be a tournament team. But we aren't even close.

I want to finish with a seed that keeps us away from Vandy (and prob Arky) for the second round of the SECT. That means we somehow need to get to the 5-7 seed. If we do that, we could win 2 games in the SECT. We need to take care of business but pull against Ole Miss, SC, and UF for the rest of the way.

We need to be prepared for Labas to have an off day next weekend, similar to Nikhazy against us after throwing a 125 pitch CG the week before.

Yea, hard to believe that we'll keep getting these performances from Landon and AJ without some hiccups. Just have to hope that we're hitting well when they have a bit of a drop off and that our pen is growing.

I disagree that the problem is the bullpen; the real problem is Paul's handling of pitching/bullpen decisions!

13-17 has put multiple SEC teams in the tournament in past years. With our RPI and SOS, it should put us in as well

Yep. 13-17 is how we should end the SEC slate. 34-21 or 35-20 overall.
