Mark Kelly to never pack the Supreme Court even if Roe V Wade overturned

National Review
Good. We assumed Manchin and Sinema wouldn’t do it, now we’ve got a third. We have to take back the House and Senate in 2022. Failure is not an option.

If he’s in on the Supreme Court, he’ll do that as well. We’ve bought some time.

Because he knows he won an election against a weirdly/ridiculously shitty opponent, and that in spite of all the gnashing of teeth, Arizona is clearly more red than blue.

Is that even an option at this point?

But will he vote to get rid of the filibuster? This means nothing if he will

I don't get that woman. She campaigned as a hard nosed progressive and when she gets to the Senate she's become one of the more moderate Democrats

She wants to get re-elected.
Her opponent was a terrible, multi time loser.

Dominion still exists and that's a big problem.

Correct. He is very far left but he hides it well. He knows the voters are too lazy to research who and what his super PAC donates money to:
quote:
Since 2014, the group has made nearly $60 million in contributions to both Democratic and Republican candidates, although the group favors Democrats.
Its beneficiaries in 2018 included dozens of contributions to federal candidates, such as $1,000 contributions to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., the year she won her congressional race to the U.S. House of Representatives. That year, the organization endorsed Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, but did not give her money.
That cycle, the committee also gave money to help the campaigns of Democratic Reps. Ruben Gallego and Tom O’Halleran of Arizona and to House Republicans Rep. Pete King of New York and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.
That same year, the committee also gave tens of thousands of dollars combined to groups that include the Arizona Democratic Party; the House Majority PAC, a super PAC linked to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee; and America Votes Action Fund, an independent expenditure political action committee affiliated with a nonprofit group that encourages progressives to vote.
Last cycle, the group spent an estimated $5.6 million to help defeat gun-friendly Republicans across the nation, including Rep. Mike Coffman of Colorado, and Rep. Jason Lewis of Minnesota.

Also, during his campaign and at the debate with McSally he refused to say how he would vote on court packing and the filibuster and repeatedly told the Trump “suckers” lie. He was basically a mini-Biden. Don’t put your trust in a guy that has the Chinese flag on his motorcycle.

Wait until after the Arizona audit

They have had almost 5 months to cover their tracks.
The State Dems just filed a lawsuit 3 hours ago to stop the audit tomorrow.
What are they trying to hide if they are so sure that there wasn't any fraud?

The Arizona Senators know they won't get reelected if they vote for that.

This whole govt charade is tired and old. Same thing every 4 to 8 years. Nothing changes but the fleecing of the American taxpayer.

He’s a fricking liar. Why would anyone believe a politician from either side is beyond me. I’d sooner trust the stripper that says she really likes me.

From the article -
Remember, a switch in time saved nine.....
Much like the Chauvin trial, this is a higher level of "juror" intimidation.
Personally, I think they’re going to try to do it. Mainly, because they know the unconstitutional garbage they are about to put through Congress that will need to be rubberstamped by a politicized and intellectually bankrupt Supreme Court that will be filled with Insane F*CKING FILTH like Sotomayor.
quote:
Some progressives hope the threat will be enough to pressure sitting Supreme Court justices and dissuade them from making any decisions that would infuriate the Democratic base. “The Court needs to know that the people are watching,” Democratic congressman Hank Johnson of Georgia, a co-sponsor of the Court-packing bill, said at a press conference last week.
