It’s reliable enough IMO. Not very powerful but better than nothing.
I’ve never once had a dud in decades of shooting .22.

I’ve seen plenty and have had plenty.
Heck, on my son’s trap team, we average around 1 squib per practice/match. All factory shells.

I have had some occasionally on 22lr, but I can't ever remember having a misfire on .22mag + they pack a pretty decent punch.

A. How much was fired thru a semi-auto pistol (rifles and revolvers are definitely more reliable at igniting the primer material).
b. You've been lucky. Or you shoot quality ammo.
