If you watched the episode, it actually made a ton of sense in context. The black super soldier who was railing against the U.S. was then countered by Falcon who refused to be embittered like the other guy. It was a very good nuanced take on our police state vs NOT lumping people together based on skin color. Falcon told him “the white man who wore that shield wasn’t the one who put you behind bars”.

When he starts practicing with the shield. . .I got goosebumps



Sam is the only person introduced in the MCU with a moral compass and temperament akin to Steve. He should be Captain America.
