I’d rather him have the potential of coming in at the end of a couple games. We have to play the first two games before we get to the third.

Ask your girlfriend. She was the last to see him.

If you don’t use him the first two games I have no issue with that. I actually think CPM is doing the right thing by seeing who he has to use to win the first two games then deciding on the third guy after that. If you win the first two games using all your good pitchers then I don’t mind you just throwing what you have left and rely on your bats to win you a game against the other teams third starter.

Fontenot needs to be used over multiple games if possible / needed

Beck is injured, has been almost all season & will not be back more than likely

But then we couldn't use him when up 9-1 in the 8th inning on Friday

How does the Covid/Redshirt eligibility work? I know beck is in his 5th year, and has only throw three innings this year. So could he medically redshirt this year and get a 6th eligible year?

I don’t know how that would work
Maybe Project will see thread, I’m sure he knows

This is all speculation:
He would have to apply for another year and let them review the case individually. If they're essentially saying 2020 season didn't count toward eligibility, then that would mean he would have a good argument to get that year back.

I don't know how I feel about bringing in someone who isn't even on the team to pitch. Who is this kid? I mean, if he has the stuff we can try a few midweek starts.
