Apparently the teacher is a HUGE Tamale Harris fan. Why the hell he would be teaching 5th graders this - because communism. Enjoy your kids before they start school. It's too late once they do
Dude is pushing for Biden to get elected. He also knows 5th graders can't vote. It sounds like he is counting on relatives listening in.

This is a Palm Beach Gardens 5th Grade Teacher indoctrinating his class here in FL. PBC School keeps deleting this video. They don’t want this to get around.

Here's the thing....the "woke" crowd who bitch and moan about any perceived slight, who ignore the fact that prejudice and bias are built into our DNA as survival instincts, who carry the torch high for those they have little in common with, well, they're nothing but a very vocal, loud minority in this country. Most democrat voters can't stand these people. They're the Qanon, Tea Party idiots of the left.
And this is what I didn't appreciate about the article. She's framing this all as some grand conspiracy where at least 50% of the population is vigorously seeking some woke utopia and that those people, half of our fellow Americans, are the enemy.
She's wrong. Absolutely wrong. Social media amplifies this small minority of outspoken idiots. Corporations and politicians gauge public interaction on social media and determine that the loudest voices, regardless of their true voting power or mass, must be appeased by succumbing to that minority.
Look at the Trans debate. Do y'all realize how few people are trans? They're a miniscule slice of the already small LGBTQ minority. Look at how the treatment of such a small group of people has shaped public policy. You have the Right passing bathroom bills and the Left trying to reinforce "equality for all". Why is this even a debate? Why are people literally voting for one party or another over this particular issue? Why have I heard more about transexuals in the last 3 years than I did in the 41 years before? Clicks. Political donations. Ratings. What the hell are we doing?
This author, imo, is further sowing discord and division by way of hyperbolic declarations concerning American society and academia. We need sane voices, moderate voices, pragmatic voices driving public discourse. Unfortunately, those traits do not result in clicks, donations, ratings, or viral posts on social media.

This very stupid person is in college. This takes place on her campus.
Quotes from the 35 second video:
This is what makes Donald Trump a racist:
This is your future politician and probably one-day president of the US. WE ARE SO frickED
Those of you who want to “burn down the system” please start with the Board of Education

quote:
He has militia-ized this country
quote:
He has had his militia, our military, be used to protect buildings against people who have been killed multiple times

quote:There is zero truth to this statement and is the primary reason why it is so rampant within all facets of our society.
Here's the thing....the "woke" crowd who bitch and moan about any perceived slight, who ignore the fact that prejudice and bias are built into our DNA as survival instincts, who carry the torch high for those they have little in common with, well, they're nothing but a very vocal, loud minority in this country.
For years, everyone said “these people would be working at Starbucks for their whole lives”, which was clearly false.
Now, the statements are “those aren’t the primary members of the party and they are just a minority of loud voices”.
Academia
Media
Corporations
Politics
Sports
Medicine
There are zero entities that are not impacted by this.
quote:Absolutely a false statement.
They're the Qanon, Tea Party idiots of the left.
This is the modern Democratic Party.
They fully drive policy and political positions of the Democratic Party.

There a YouTube video of a dude in a nice area of NYC and all the rich whites said exactly this. Then the dude goes to Harlem and asks black people if they can get an id and they all look at him like he is crazy.

No, this is what you hear from the chamber you inhabit.
Who do you think reads more from the left? Me, who admits to being a center-left voter or you, who is obviously a hard right voter? Pardon me for knowing, beyond a doubt, what's happening in my own party more than you do.

You make this statement, yet reject the statement made the person who wrote the article as being factually incorrect, despite the fact that she exists in the world of academia and has personally witnessed multiple events referenced.
What chamber does she exist in?
Can you show me prominent Democrat politicians pushing back against it?
I would love to be convinced that this doesn’t infect every aspect of our society.
And just as an aside, you even post in support of my statement:
quote:As I said, this is the modern Democratic Party.
Social media amplifies this small minority of outspoken idiots. Corporations and politicians gauge public interaction on social media and determine that the loudest voices, regardless of their true voting power or mass, must be appeased by succumbing to that minority.
You can say that you oppose their views or disagree with the positions they push, but if you vote for them/with them, do you really?
My view is no.

who are you going to trust? mmmmbeer or your own lying eyes.
what politician is pushing back against things like reparations, HB1, CRT, transgenderism accepted as main stream, DC and PR statehood, packing the court, etc.?
Tulsi? Max Rose? Both out of congress now.
Joe Manchin? Henry Cuellar? Both guys i like on a lot of issues, but also both guys who vote along party lines 90% of the time.
Trump had a lot of problems and rightful criticisms, but he at least had some people (who i didn't always agree with) at least pushing back in Rand Paul, Romney, Sasse, Amash, Collins, Murkowski, etc. Hell, he had an entire group of republicans form a PAC against him.

It’s absolutely not a small minority in academia. For a while it was limited there but has creeped into plenty of other areas

Probably the best article I’ve read about progressive ideology.
The problem though is that rhetorical circulation is controlled by the “woke culture” she describes, meaning that her article will stay in the echo chamber of conservative thought, easily decried by any leftist who comes across it.
Don't let it. Send it out to people you know. This is why I posted it here. It's a brilliant description -- needs to be read by all.
