John Nickleson is getting dragged over this stupid law proposal and he keeps doubling down. There's zero common sense involved, just an idiotic idea to be made into another unenforceable, feel-good-do-nothing law that imbeciles peddle to other imbeciles.

It actually does do something. Anytime someone has a gun stolen they won't report it because then they would have to pay $1,000 fine. Actually does the exact opposite of what the bill is intended to do.
