The furor has zero to do with IDs. I haven’t heard a Leftist bring up IDs in a long time.
They complain about fewer dump boxes, not being able to have food or water provided to you in line, and the legislature’s ability to overturn election results in a county on a whim. None of these are true.
Just like when the Leftists went absolutely apeshit last summer over planned changes at the USPS, the response is because a cheating mechanism is being removed.

They fail to mention that a "self-serve" water and snack station may be set up as long as it is 150+ feet away from the polling station. I guess the "self-serve" concept isn't very appealing to some people.
