Yeah, but the MCU kills folks off.

I remember when someone started a thread for some show (The Mandalorian, I think) before he did, and he made sure to start another "OFFICIAL" thread and kept bumping it.

frick Enfys Nest and the Flag Smashers. Flag Smashers are a bunch of losers who refuse to get real jobs, and Wyatt Russell has an incredibly punchable face.

This was stupid. You don't try to talk sense into people who blow up buildings full of innocent people.

He was trying to get her to come in peacefully, convince her to stop but she’s a spoiled little brat and a dumbass. There’s nothing redeeming or interesting about her or her band of assholes yet they keep trying to paint her in a sympathetic light. I have a theory about this, not in universe but the larger picture here on what’s going on in our world, but I’ll leave real world politics out of it and this thread.

John Walker is fricked in the head. This is the second time he’s had some weird mental break and lost his shite. Was great seeing the Dora Milaje kick his arse.

And now he’s caught on video with the murder.

That ain’t a good look for Captain America.

Looks like Lamar was the voice of reason and won’t be a “villain” as some predicted.

Also. Appears Walker did some fricked up shite to get those medals.

Did anyone realize that in Civil War Bucky asked Sam to move his seat up and Sam said “no”??

She’s second on my most hated characters list for this show. Every time she’s on screen she has some racial axe to grind like the world owes her something. Your brother helped save the universe and is trying to help you, but you get all pissy about it? Yeah okay. Get over yourself and quit your whining.

It really is pretty disappointing. I really thought they would knock this out of the park, and they just aren't.

I’ve loved every bit of WandaVision and Falcon /Winter Soldier

I feel like I’ve died and entered my personal geek heaven

I like the show. It’s good to get away from
CGI aliens, magic, and androids for a bit. My only gripe is the Flag Smashers just aren’t cool or charismatic for me as the main antagonists. Zemo is, but up to this point he’s not driving the story.

Surely there were some other low level villains they could’ve picked for this?

Again, I like the show. Love Bucky and Sam’s interaction as a duo. Just underwhelmed with the villain choice of Flag Smashers.

I think this was the best episode yet.

I love how they're really building up the world post-blip. The Flagsmashers might as well be Thanos ambassadors. Thanos whole ideal was that by taking away half of the planets' people, everyone else could be grateful as now resources have essentially doubled. No one has to be homeless, world hunger can be ended, no one has to be unemployed if they want to work, etc.

I was hoping for a surprise Tchalla cameo, potentially from a shoot before his death. But I think that is ruled out now.

I think from the first or 2nd episode, someone on here guessed that John Walker would end up taking the serum, going overboard and killing someone in front of people. So he would then be forced to give up the shield to Sam. Whoever that poster was, you sir deserve an award.

This is a pretty low bar right now. Due to COVID and working from home for over a year, I've watched pretty much everything else I have even marginal interest in.

John Walker may be the most unlikeable characters in the history of the MCU.

Hoping that’s the point

ETA: he’s had some moments where he doesn’t seem like a strangely faced POS ie the knives quote

Also if battlelemar comes back to life I’ll be a bit upset. That was a brutal (for the MCU) moment

This entire series is about people who are basically anti-government and anti-establishment.

I don't wanna make things too political here, but rather you agree or disagree, it is a sentiment that a lot of people have. When you feel as if your life isn't where you'd want it to be, and you're envious of people who have more than you or are better off. Resentment is what occurs. The endless battle of the haves vs. the havenots.

Its a very common trope.

I would have been fine with him killing all three.
