So general consensus around here is that we are ok with Russia taking Crimea back? I'm not well versed on this at all.

I think most of us dont give a shite anymore. Our own country is in ruins so why would we worry about anyone else? We have to fix our own mess first.
I fear what the US government will try to do to me and my family far more than what the Russians would do.
In fact Russia is looking more appealing everyday.

We should not get involved at all. Let the Euro's handle it, they we scream and cry about Russia and then buy gas and oil from them, when they could buy it from us. Let Merkle the leader of the free world do something, let the Germans,French,Brits,and Brussels do their thing which be nothing but they will want our guys to go die while their set at home...Screw that... I have no problem with Russia, the EU started this mess by pushing to get ukraine into the EU which was a very dumb move.. the fact is the EU is lead by a bunch of dumb deep state types who are not elected and want recreate the USSR in western europe..

Crimea was part of Russia from the early 18th century until the 1950's. The majority of people there speak Russian and identify as Russian. The American media won't tell you this because it doesn't suit our imperialist narrative
