No one is “defending” Arbery, who seems to have been a little punk and petty thief. That does not change the fact that Cletus and Jethro McMichael broke the law when they chased and killed him.

As you can see, they are now saying, “well they shouldn’t have killed him and they deserve the full punishment of the law.”They’ve left out of their one track minds, that if this criminal would act aggressively towards the police then it’s no big jump to logically think he would have charged at the two armed civilians like a cornered rat.
