Portofino Bay , Royal Pacific, or Hardrock Hotel?

Trying to decide on which one of these 3 Universal Resorts to stay @ in June . All three offer free express passes with stay. Will be me, Mrs jkyle, and 2 kids (13&11). Portofino is a little bit more $$ and hard rock is barely more than royal pacific. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hard Rock Hotel all the way. Closest to the parks and the best pool.

Hard Rock is the closest. You basically walk out of the back gate and you’re in CitiWalk. We’ve also stayed at Royal Pacific. It’s very nice too.

Hard Rock is the best of the three (we’re here now). Portofino is ok, but very long walks to get anywhere. It can be 1/4 mile walk from the lobby to your room. I’d still stay at any of the three over the new Universal hotels just for the express pass.

Hardrock. Not even close

If the main goal is the express pass and you’ve got 4 days of tickets, I think you’re better off at Cabana Bay and upgrading to annual passes then using the annual pass discount to purchase the express pass.
Now, if you want the deluxe resort amenities and accommodations I’d say Hard Rock but I like the poolside suites at Cabana Bay and how easy/close it is to Volcano Bay (and still walkable yo city walk if you want), bowling alley, etc

Thank yall for the responses. Just booked Hard Rock for 4 nights in June for a mon-thursday. Thinking week days would be the best plan . Couple weekdays w/ express passes should make for hopping on rides pretty quickly I'd think. Can't wait to ride that damn motorbike ride again.

You’ll definitely want to get to IoA an hour before advertised opening then do it first thing. I don’t mean going through security, I mean at IoA for 8 am.
Then, make sure you’re on the app to get the virtual queue and let everyone in your party do the same. It’s Not like Disney or only one person can book for the family. Each Person in your party can all have the app open and can all book for separate rides on the virtual queue. You could potentially do it five times before lunch. In my opinion, it’s my favorite coaster, I can’t stop smiling
