He’s a really good kid. Known him since he was young. Had the pleasure of coaching him as well.

The kid obviously wants people talking about him and speculating what his "good news" is going to be.
IF NOT, he probably wouldn't have posted about it on social media telling EVERYONE that he had "good news" coming on Good Friday.

I agree with not spoiling commitments. “Spoiling” someone dropping a top 10 list of schools he’s “focused on” is not ruining a kid’s moment.

There’s already been eight (8) LA kids that have announced their verbal commitment to LSU, so Shazz could be the ninth (9th) in a few days (who knows).
Point being, the way this cycle has been playing out so far - it’s every bit as reasonable that he could be announcing his commitment as it is he’s dropping a top-10 (or whatever) on Good Friday.
I know one (1) thing - the way M. Joseph been stacking up W’s on the trail lately (BTJ, AJ, T. Hill, etc.) - I like LSU’s chances with S. Preston regardless of the timing of his announcement.
