I should have realized much sooner or at least right after the Cuba trip. He talked and talked about it. I told him I didn't think it was a good idea at all! I could hire attys and bail him out in the states but Cuba-no chance!

Well as you all know he went. They had a strict schedule to follow and were supposed to be chaperoned by Cuban officials the whole time. Kelly follow rules .

He at some point got away and took two Cuban girls for a joy ride speeding around Cuba in the no wake zone and in utter defiance to the Cuban govt. He got a call realizing that he had get out of dodge. He dropped off the girls and high tailed it back to Key West.

In the process he ran out of fuel but made it to US waters. Who knows were he would be now if he didn't get out of there. Well at first we all laughed saying so Kelly but the real picture of what just happened snapped us out of that real fast.

He had left some of the crew behind and one of his best friends. They didn't have passports as this was a special event and seriously it is not like you can take a one way flight out of Cuba. Thanks to serious kindness of others in the boat club on the poker run, we got them back riding on their boats. It was very tense for awhile there. Once again I must point out and be thankful to the boaters that helped out. It is not like these are spacious yachts!

BATON ROUGE - A troubled contractor featured in multiple WBRZ Investigative Unit reports over the past year has a warrant out for his arrest after he missed a court date related to his drunk driving arrest. A bench warrant was filed this week after he failed to show up in court for the DWI arrest that happened back in July. At the time, police said they found Sills unconscious in his car after receiving a call about a vehicle blocking Bluebonnet Boulevard eastbound near the I-10 overpass.

Sills failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer, prompting deputies to obtain a warrant for a blood sample.

Sills, who sued the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors over the summer after it revoked his contracting license. He is also wrapped up in litigation over accusations that his company failed to pay his employees' medical premiums.

Arrest Warrant issued for Sills

Someone decided not to show up to court to address his DWI charge.
