People that didn't want the game moved up......

.....what do you think now? Gustav is on track to potentially turn into a Category 5 hurricane. Just can't believe how ignorant some people are here. It is just a frickin' football game.
Playing the game at 4:00 pm would just have just been a disaster and would have hampered the evacuation plans. Jindal and company obviously know what they are doing.

I was just telling my mom how I'm glad it happened like this. We aren't playing Troy next week, that much I've accepted. From the looks of things, South LA is fricked big time, so kudos to Jindal and company.

yeah, it would have been a disaster to play the game at 4pm, because it would have been over at 7pm, and since the contraflow doesn't start until tomorrow morning, it would have been impossible to clear traffic in a matter of 12 hours, i mean, look how bad traffic has been in BR the last couple of hours
