I couldn't get the Appy game because I'm on that other coast but I am curious what happened in the 2nd half and why LSU (after scoring 30 or so in the first) only had meager points in the entire 2nd half, even if you played back-ups?

i left at halftime. way to hot. had a headache. went back to my apartment and went to sleep. so i didnt watch the second half either.

LSU has a habit of taking the foot off the pedal all the time, regardless of opponent. I think it falls on the players.

Both Bob and Mike Stoops are classless pricks.

its offense philosophy.
throwing the ball generates more yardage, more first down stop the clock.
sec typically have more balanced offenses or run the ball more which runs the clock out faster which leads to fewer point.
some of you that have a hard on about this are terrible

You can't stop players from playing. Now if the startes where in the game running up the score then you can hate on Stoops. Maybe LSU doesn't run the score because there offense is not that good.

OU was actually kneeling the ball inside the 10 yard line to keep from running it up further. Notice the time on that picture...it was 77-0 with time left in the 3rd quarter

They did. I remembered B. Stoop said that he was trying real hard to keep the score in the 70.

Both LSU and OU ran the ball 58% of the time last season.
Next excuse?

what about texas tech.
face it. big 12 in general throws more than run.
many of you lsu fans are so close minded that you cant stand any other team at all.

This thread had nothing to do with any team but OU.
As a result, I used OU and LSU's pass/run ratio from last year to prove him wrong.
Tell me what I said in my post that was wrong.
