When our nation invades and permanently occupies other countries in which the majority of the population have fundamentalist theological views, we dare claim that we are “delivering” their people from their oppressive cultural norms and “liberating” these “unenlightened” knaves from their intellectual backwardness? Meanwhile, our government and it’s military is actively promoting the antiscientific and frankly insane notion that a man born a man can “transition” into a woman by mutilating their functional sexual organs and following a prescription of chemical castration?

Which is actually the more barbaric culture here? Is it any wonder that the United States is often referred to as the “Great Satan” by many citizens in the Middle East?
