No. That's exactly what you want to do in that situation. Put up a shot and give yourself a chance to get a put back if it's missed. It wasn't the look we wanted maybe, but we had two chances to tip it in. Just failed. It sucks, but nothing to be pissed about.

Stop trying to find an excuse. He rushed the shot, it came up short and they lost. Get up and move on.

Bad throw in and timing .. forced Watford way out to half court, Where he had to re-gather himself and just do something so he shot a deep one

I think he did have time for the drive, but it would have been the only opportunity--it had to go down and they weren't going to get a foul.
That said, the bad pass likely made Watford go into a bit of panic mode and think there was less time on the clock.
