when my sugar spikes that I become disoriented and often say things that are not appropriate as well as hurtful," he said. "I do not believe that I would have made such horrible statements absent my sugar spiking."
Is this supposed to be better?

He also said he didn't know the mic was on.
So he was lucid enough to consider whether there was a hot mic but not lucid enough to refrain from using an N bomb.

Has he done anything to mistreat or discriminate against any minority?
As the good Miss Gupta noted...having implicit bias and racism in your makeup is one thing, how you handle it in your actions towards other is what matters.

Well yes - I would be willing to accept the notion that you, too, have some really awful thoughts that - if properly expressed truthfully - would reveal a basic fault in your character that you would not want to be made public.
And I say this in the age where the most hateful, despotic, racist, deplorable views imaginable are now central to the 'progressive' norm = a cloak that all tyrannies hide behind while the are scheming their way to power.
You are not really "holier than thou" - nor am I. I lay claim to being honest.
