When he almost blew the ASU game after Katrina
When he blew the Tenn game after Rita

When he almost bungled the Tenn game when T Bob had to snap it to save him

When he melted down at Ole Miss with the clock

When he melted down at Penn St with the clock in the bowl game

When I saw the game plan for rematch with Bama

When I saw the end of game calls in bowl loss to Clemson

When he finally melted at the end of the Auburn game and was fired

One of the hardest quotes i ever heard as an LSU fan was the LSU vs Bama game in 2015

That was the year Leonard was running away with the heisman.

Saban was asked in the presser when he felt good about the game and he said after the first play when their DT was able to stonewall our center.

Basically in 1 play he was aware that they could handle us physically in the trenches and wasn’t even worried about us trying to do anything different.

Rightfully so.

The Tennessee game his first season when we blew a huge lead...Laron Landry intercepted a pass with about a minute left and us needing to score, Les tried to call a quick timeout not understanding the clock stops on a change of possession. I was a nega-tiger from that day on

This is total speculation and has never been proven.

This will add file to Skip Bertman’s poor legacy as AD. Hired Les when a very competent Jimbo was ready to take the reigns, and Skip’s ego wouldn’t allow him to hire Saban when he asked to return. What was the quote “we can’t do that to Les”!

Skip is arguably as responsible for Bama’s 15 year dynasty as their administration for making the hire.

When he blew that big halftime lead against a less that stellar Tennessee team at home in just his second game, it was obvious he was going to be a very big problem and unfortunately, he was for way too damn long.

Les' 1st home game in Tiger Stadium against TN. The look on his face when the crowd exploded. He shite himself and showed his first clock mgm't frick up towards the end of the 1st half.

When we lost to Tennessee after having a big lead at half time.
Then when the game was on the line, he said he was "looking up into the stands" to see his wife.
Can you imagine any competent dedicated HC saying that? Time out!

At no point EVER did Saban want to return to LSU.

Not then, not now, not ever.

To Nick Saban, LSU was and still is just another stepping stone, just like he will never return to Michigan State.

Every damned time he had to call a timeout at the line of scrimmage after coming out of a timeout or end of a quarter.

Well, we now know that was BS. Although maybe he heard a woman yell "worthless POS" from the crowd.
