I'm a huge fan of offal. I never pass up an opportunity to dine on a classic dish in the country of it's origin. I'm no Andrew Zimmern, because that guy is unscrupulous about what he puts down his gullet, but I have traveled to 19 countries outside of the U.S. and sampled a variety of local dishes.

Sheep's Head in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.
Menudo in Puerto Vallarta.
Haggis in Scotland
Blood Pudding in Scotland

Not Offal, but still exotic, Ostrich, Kudu, & Elan in South Africa, roo in Australia (had the opportunity to eat a Wichetty Grub but just couldn't do it)

But the weirdest food I have ever eaten was purchased at a local Asian market. If you've never had the displeasure of eating a Century Egg, then don't. Their is nothing redeeming about those grotesque gelatin barf bombs.

Most other "exotic" food has been consumed state side such as, Uni (Sea urchin), Jelly Fish Salad, Stir fry Sea Cucumber, Durian, Lamb's Tongue...
