I didn’t say that.
I said he mentioned the Roman government and earthly rulers and kingdoms often.

Take a trek into the old books of the Bible. God has dealt with many a ruler.

Being a believer has more to do with salvation of mankind(I am old school) and little to do with politics.

That was the context I was speaking of.

He didn't because that shouldn't be the focus of their lives.

Most Christians in America are more concerned with various political issues than they are with saving souls. The same goes for working 40hrs and paying for homes, cars, vacations, etc. The same goes for hobbies.

That was my point.

Correct. Therefore, they can not show in the Bible that Jesus said for a nation to take anybody and everybody in.


Here is the truth. The truth is that the left has been demanding that Gov become God and take over the role of the church.

Example:

- Welfare state. At some point, Churches stopped performing duties of the church in respect to helping the needy in their local areas.

The Gov took on those responsibilities.
