i am a TAF member and have been since 2001, but i don't enjoy the parties
TAF isn't just for rich people, BUT to think that those who donate thousands and tens of thousands of dollars each year are not more important to the program (financially) i think is silly

I grew up when LSU was down. Had A lot of fun in those days. I love the winning, but with TAF came new rules for tailgating, and pricing out the people who followed this school when we were going 3-8 and 4-7 not just because it was the popular thing to do. Watch if we have a down year the White collar people will still be there and the taf people will be the people selling their tickets to the UF's and UGA fans.

free beer... and coke. concession stand are open inside and box lunches by Coplands.... but you have to buy the food.

Jesus Christ, you really don't have a clue what you are talking about. Pretty much everyone around me is part of the TAF, and they will be there every game rain or shine. Not to mention they will virtually make every road game as well.

TAF has been around long before the down years in the 90's
TAF has changed (and changed names) over time and adapted as college football has adapted
what is going on at LSU with TAF is not only a good thing, but it is going on everywhere in the country among elite programs. not just at LSU

Just about everybody I know that is a member of TAF is more or less a common man. Yeah, they may be white collar and not working in the factory, but it's not like TAF is full of Sultans. I know regular old CPAs and construction foremen who are members of TAF.

shite, UL-L is even putting together their version of the TAF. It's the way of the future, and every school will have an organization like this to increase private funding.

I am one of the common men you are referencing. I am in TAF, yet I don't even have season tickets. I give what I can because I enjoy seeing the tigers do well and it takes money to do well in this day & age. Go far away & come back when you have a clue!
