BATON ROUGE - On Nov. 25, LSU's domain registry account was accessed illegally from outside of the country and several university domains were transferred to a third-party account and subsequently cancelled.

As a result, many visitors to these domains including the athletics department's official website, LSUsports.net, are being directed to the marketing homepage for available domains of GoDaddy.com.

Fans are encouraged to visit www.LSUsports.com in the interim, as LSU works with the domain provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. LSUsports.net is not available for purchase and will be returned to the University's control shortly.

Geaux Zone members and other fans who use LSUsports.net should be aware that there was no breach of account security nor website information in any manner.

agree with you.... the Saints FINALLY have something to call "their own" and it has no business in Tiger Stadium... I just hope they don't play it over the loud speakers :yack: :wah:

2010 LSU Football on TV

A fan website has erroneously reported that CBS has announced all of its game times and that many of LSU's games have been moved to the daytime. The report is wrong. As has been the long-standing procedure, the starting times for any games after the third week of the season are not determined until two weeks before the game. The only home game time that has been determined for television so far for 2010 is LSU's game against Mississippi State on September 18. No other games have yet been moved for television.

The tradition of night football at LSU is among the best traditions in all of college sports. But because of LSU's membership in the SEC, LSU does not determine the time of its games. Game times are determined by the television networks. It is a requirement of every school in the SEC. It is important to note that every LSU home game last season - the first year under the new 15-year CBS/ESPN agreement - was played at night. Under the new TV agreements there are more opportunities to play televised games at night than ever before.

It remains to be seen what time games will be played this year. Game times will be posted at www.LSUsports.net immediately upon notification that a game time has been determined.
