Yes. Until gays demanded changes in the DSM-5 of the American Psychiatric Association is was always listed as one. China, our new world leader, just ruled it its court system that it still is one. Every major religion on the planet forbade its unhygienic practice. Even within the church structure, the leadership covered for it, full well knowing the psychological damage it was doing to their altar boy system
A 2003 study on crime says approximately 70% of serial killers were gays. If you factor in that 5% of the population is recognized as gay, then that 75% number is alarming. So yes, someones ability to complete shut out the drive for their own survival via reproduction, is without a doubt a disconnect in their mental functioning

I have a hard time buying into the concept of mental illness outside of real, organic schizophrenia, but I think the error here is the conflation of an elaborate mutual masturbation scheme with the traditional family.
I have no problem with men doing things together sexually, but I do have a problem when this grows in scope to encompass claims like "look at me and these two other men- we are just like you and your wife (or even better than you, because of some stat)."
It is ultimately a confusion of the real, which we must accept, with the ideal, which we must strive for. The real is Larry Craig in an airport bathroom. The ideal is not.
