They also got a warning on the George Burns episode because of his trademark cigar

Do they have the Johnny Cash one where he plays Ghost Riders in the Sky with a Confederate flag in the back?

I thank Christ that I grew up in pre-PC days.

EDIT: Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Johnny Cash

I guess they do show it; there’s a Disney logo on the bottom left.

OK, now I'm beginning to think:
Do these companies realize how stupid this is?
Answer: Yes
Q: Then why do they do it?

I go back to one of those overhead public bathroom roller hand towel machines that did not dispense towels but rolled them up in the 1970s. They were located over the sink. I saw one with a warning:
ONLY TO BE USED FOR DRYING HANDS OR FACE!

Why? Because somebody took a shite. Realized there was no toilet paper. Stepped up on the sink to wipe his arse with the machine towel and fell and broke his leg. He then sued the company who lost the case because they didn't have a warning sign.

So, today if an Asian guy sees 16 Candles and becomes depressed and commits suicide (with a ceremonial knife) his parents might sue the movie channel. But now they can argue they've got a warning. So they're protected.

I just watched it on IFC as well in the last few weeks. Sixteen Candles is a SJW’s worst nightmare. It is such a great movie in so many ways. Just watching it makes me think back to when our world was in much simpler times. The 80’s was the greatest decade ever.

I’m going to have to agree with this assessment. Sixteen Candles is so quotable that my kids now know the movie verbatim just because of how many times my wife and I quote it.
