Can you quote someone here that had said this person can't live their life however they want?

It would seem the issue, and the specific issue as asked by Rand Paul, was this person's beliefs (which can therefore potentially become policy) in regards to the use of hormone blockers and surgery to either prevent puberty or reverse it in minors. This person's refusal, despite being asked twice, to even pretend to answer Paul's question ought to be troubling to everyone.
