So was 6. The show went to shite the moment it surpassed the books. DnD proved they could not create original scripts and had no idea how to flush out characters. With the books supplying the perfect blueprint, they were stellar at adapting those. Once they were forced to create dialogue and actually write out the characters themselves is when they failed.

Yep. After season 4 the show just gets tedious. 1-4 are some amazing TV though. Have rewatched several times.
