Coach nor I was happy at the time that I had to go in. Before the game, coach gave me the night off(& told me told me to not even swing a bat before the game) cuz I was dealing with an forearm injury that restricted me from swinging/throwing. I didn’t have my cleats on or my helmet/bat in the dugout for the entire game till I had a gut feeling something was going to happen. Next thing you know, he came to me and asked me if I thought I could hit. I said I guess so. Had a good at bat, felt In Control and got a good piece. Locker room was lit after but we shouldn’t have been in that situation. Damn mid week games lol
