Help. What non-STEM college majors require at least one physics course?

Any?

Pretty sure any major requiring physics is going to be considered STEM.

I had to take the first two physics (science major one) for kinesiology(pre physical therapy) but this was almost 20 years ago.

May have been the PT school admission requirement and not LSU. Honestly can’t remember.

Idk if you count Construction Management as an Engineering degree but it requires 2 physics courses.

Why?

If you have a physics credit dont select major based on that one course. Just apply the physics as an elective. Besides, any BS is going to require a number of science credits just not specifically physics. I applied microbiology, physics, chemistry, geology, and labs to a BS in Political Science.

It would vary per university and degree audit.

Depends on the program. The only ones i can guarantee requiring physics are physics and engineering. Someone has already pointed out that there's a distinction between calculus based and algebra based physics so your math background os important too

What’s your situation?

What’s your end game to finding a major that requires physics but isn’t Stem?

Just take physics at a community college if it worries that much. It’ll be way easier and transfer over fine

Odd question from a nuclear engineer.

It’s time we have widespread adoption of nuclear power. - Deplorableinohioon 2/19/21 at 8:06 pm

As a nuclear engineer, fusion energy on earth to produce electricity is a pipe dream, no different than solar, wind, and other renewables. It’s not all of the above. Coal, natural gas, nuclear, and hydro. Reliable electricity. Period. End of discussion. Fact. ...

I took physics as a psych major.

If you've already taken the class, can't you just use it as an elective?
