There’s a basing process. They either followed it or they didn’t. If everything is in order, I’m sure it’ll be fine. If they made a decision that was against the criteria solely for political reasons, I hope they do fix it.
Military basing is already costly enough since Congress stands in the way of BRAC for political reasons. Let’s not compound it by making an unnecessarily costly, politically-motivated decision (if that’s what happened) on a basing action.
