Hate to be a negatiger here as I have 2 kids and they go to almost every game but if you are trying to bring a 3 year old to his first game, you might consider choosing a game that will be a little cooler. Some kids can handle that kind of heat sitting down but many can't. Especially if they aren't really in to football yet.

Check marketplace with so many people worrying about the hurricane they may have some pop up.

Mine started at about 2 and they are now 5 and 8. They love it and refuse to leave until the game is completely over. They didn't like one of those 11:30 JP specials though (I think it was against Miss State). If they are miserably hot, they will make you miserable with them. Start with night games against the rent a wins.

That is what I thought but he loves football and he wanted to go see the "eagles" and our seats our under the upper level deck in the southendzone

Just giving you the heads up that the "really want to go" might change about the end of the first quarter if it is as hot as hades.

Shouldn't be a problem partially due to the storm.

i have two nephews that were each born at the beginning of our national championship seasons.
my brother has plaque's for each with a picture of each one at their first LSU game along with their BCS tickets framed next to the schedule from that year.
i told him he needs to hurry up and have another kid.

That's what I'm thinking.
Hard to imagine people willing to drive into Baton Rouge from say Mobile or Houston knowing they might be stuck on the interstate for hours and hours not knowing for sure exactly where the hurricane is going to hit.

Took my 5 year old to her first game last year (tech) and plan on taking my 4 year old to Tulane this year (she will be 5 in jan)
You want to wait till it's cooler, and go to a weak OOC game. Once they get full they are ready to go home....
