Boiled Crabs

Being waken up on a Sunday morning to the sound of a spoon banging on a pot and my MawMaw or PawPaw cooking something great.

Both of my grandmothers could cook. My paternal grandmother turned her catering business into a commercial bakery. My maternal grandmother was a country girl that raised 8 kids on a little farm. Two total different women with different styles of cooking, but both were incredible. My paternal grandmother at intricate things like complicated desserts. My maternal grandmother at things like butter beans and biscuits. No kid ever left hungry.
