I have heard people brag on their gyro. There's one in Livingston parish, I think. I too like the beef and cheddar. If you love meat and sandwiches, its a solid fast food option. I would choose Arby's over Subway any day.

I put Arby’s in the upper echelon of fast food. I just find the quality of their meats to be better than just about everyone else’s. Love the beef and cheddar. Their curly fries may be the best fries around, but even so, I almost always get the potato cakes - my favorite fast food side item. It’s like a supersized McDonald’s hash brown. Back in the day they had the best fast food hamburger around (1/3 lb.). But during the raging anti-fat campaign in the ‘80s they chose the “lean roast beef” angle for their advertising pitch and ditched the burger
. Used to get their Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich after they ditched the burger, but nowadays it’s beef and cheddar.
