I’d post the screenshot of the texts but i have no clue how to do that
You have to host the image somewhere like imgr and then use that url to post the img.

It is quit clear that based upon your issues, the guy is selling black market and/or stolen goods and/or counterfeit products. I had two bad experiences with this clown with regards to my boys. He forced certain clubs on them, despite the clear data produced from their respective fittings. I took both boys to Tru-Sepcs in Florida and the fitting and results were completely different. I never said anything on this site because I thought it was just a "one-off" and there was so many positive experiences mentioned on this thread. After reading this post, it is quit clear what he is doing.

Hell no i didn’t call him. He refused to tell me the truth and be honest the previous two times i tried to talk to him about this. No reason to believe he was gonna say anything worth listening to.

I'm not sure they're fake. I think it's much more likely the local rep is either stealing the clubs or getting them for cheap and then reselling them to him so they are making more money based on the text that his boy was "effed bad" or whatever.

Either way you cant trust him for a couple of reasons. One, he's going to push mizunos on you to make more money and two, it's just shady as shite

That's what I'm leaning towards if the rep was involved.

Lol doubtful. Although he should. Dudes filled with knowledge snd really knows his shiit. Unfortunately you can’t trust him as far as you can throw him. Although you could probably throw him pretty far considering he’s 4’8.

I mean, I feel like he could clarify some of this on the board. He has to know at this point that he is being blasted on here.

I’m sure he has to know or he should be expecting it. I’m sure he’s going to have a justification. I’m not sure how he can deny considering the texts snd receipts I’m willing to provide here. I know mizuno is looking into this now as well. I def didn’t want this outcome and I’m not one that writes reviews like this even when i have one bad experience but, this was bad enough snd i had enough proof that i felt it necessary.

Thank you for sharing. This is very concerning to me as I too have been fitted by Buddha (with Mizuno clubs) and routinely recommend him (as recently as 2/9 on this board).

I would appreciate his input in this as well (if possible) though I agree with others that this seems very bad.

Please continue to update this thread RawDog.

Wow.

As for your indecisiveness, wouldn't blame yourself at all. It's not uncommon to have second thoughts about a big purchase like that. If you're not 100% in love with it no sense in trying to force it.

I've done the exact thing within 48 hours after getting fitted for something that just didn't quite fit what I wanted.

I've had one experience with Buddha that I'd rate as pretty good. I did not buy clubs through him, but the fitting information was valuable. I appreciate the heads up about your experience. Your story doesn't surprise me. Thanks again for sharing.

I was planning on getting fitted by him in April but now I’m rethinking that. Other than him who else can do custom fitting?

Update! He did send me the specs from my fitting which i appreciate. Not sure how much to trust them though cause I’m sure he is upset.

If it's a kickback deal with the Mizuno rep, I really don't think it's a big deal for the consumer (ignoring his unwillingness to return the stuff). If it's counterfeit clubs, stolen clubs, etc. that's a huge deal.

I mean, he is going to get in trouble either way. But at least one way is clearly better.

In theory I agree with you, but he was super sketchy about it. He tried to make the OP buy two sets of clubs, and we haven't even really discussed how he made him buy a stock set and then another set of shafts separately which I think is bullshite.

If he would have just said he had to pull some strings with the local rep to get the clubs and give him a couple of days to get it worked out my response would have been "that's between you and him as long as I get my clubs that's fine," but he lied about a bunch of shite
