Just remember that Alabama had one of their best ever football seasons during a pandemic where there was virtually no tailgating, a fraction of fans in stadiums, and not near the level of national excitement that comes along with a normal CFB season. I would almost call it a waste.

I mean could you imagine our 2019 season if it was during a pandemic? No roaring crowd when Burrow takes a deep shot to Chase late in the 4Q against Florida. No outer conference regular season game where we go into UT and win on the final drive on 3rd and 17. No going into Tuscaloosa and Burrow lighting up Bama in front of 100k fans and 16 million viewers at home. Only two games in the entire year during the Pandemic edged that viewership out, and those were playoff games. Remember the hype around that season but now imagine not being able to attend games or tailgates. Holy frick. And with the Natty in Nola, not being able to party after the win or even attend the game because Latoya shut the city down? Holy shite, that would suck major cock.

We're honestly very lucky that we lined up our rebuilding year with this pandemic. Would genuinely be pissed to be a Bama fan right now.

When you put it that way, I don't mind that the program is a dumpster fire and is right back to being NickSaban's bitch for the foreseeable future.

None of the numerous Bammer fans I know give a single frick. I don’t imagine LSU fans would either if in the same situation.

Is this just a modified version of of the bumper sticker, a bad day at LSU is better than a good day at Alabama?

You do realize the braindead Gump fans don't really care, so long as they can claim to add on to their 25th national championship (that no one else except bandwagon fans care about).

To them its the one bright spot in an otherwise miserable existence.

My day isn’t necessarily better now having read that, but you’re absolutely right that I’m glad we had our school’s best season during a regular college football season and not a pandemic season.

this only affects like 1% of Bama "fans".
