I know... he's just too nice a guy, I think. It was different when he was on a comedy playing an over the top douche (Scott Pilgrim), but trying to do so seriously? He just isn't that guy - and I like him. I thought he was the perfect "next generation Christopher Reeves" and he was one of the better parts of Legends of Tomorrow.


To clarify, I don't mind "slightly woke" if the show is a good show. Somethings will make me roll my eyes but otherwise it can still be something worth watching.
This season, though, it's so absurdly over the top. I also don't think it's the kind of thing that will attract viewers, if that's what they're aiming for. They either already had that demographic, or they're not going to start watching now - but they'll definitely lose some folks over it.
