Gaines is the only one that can dribble penetrate and kick it back out for open 3s. This team’s offensive plays are give it to Thomas or Watford clear out and let them create their own. Same thing with Smart except they don’t clear out for him. And occasionally find Days open for a three. With the starting 5 in there we can’t rebound they do a much better job of rebounding with LeBlanc and O’Neal in the game and Gaines at the point to create something. Don’t think this team will go far.

Not done with them but anyone expecting a tourney run should they get in is kidding themselves. Depending on the matchup they’ll be lucky to win one game.

Looking at our upcoming schedule we might need an SEC tournament run to get to the tournament. We were projected as a 8-10 seed before today, don’t think this hurts us in that regard by losing 3 of the last 4 certainly does.

“Should have” doesn’t count for shite. They lost a game that they should have won and Wade/Watford need to take a hard look in the mirror tonight. Wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t give away the game in the final minute.

Oates 2nd season is on pace to be better than Wades 2nd season, they’re blowing everyone out while we are choking away games due to lack of fundamentals.
