literally the quickest and easiest way to level up as an 'understander' of this reality
this has nothing to do with politics, don't be turned off bc the subject is technically oil and you're conservative. it's not like that. this is about gaining understanding of history.
confusion? anger? skepticism?
up your historical knowledge base on the connectivity and manufacturing of reality and you will be better equipped in the fights ahead.

Let me guess, its about who has power and money over the population. The Rockefellers had the money and the power through the control of oil and now the tech magnates want to use their technology in the same manner. ??

Its pretty obvious. Politics doesn't happen in a vacuum. I think what has happened, is we are in a new technology revolution, but not just in this country but world wide. The current geo-political structure we are used to is not going to work at the rate technology is accelerating. I really don't know what the simple answer is, but the difference between this tech revolution and previous tech revolutions is the need for humans is becoming less.
All of the Democrat policies are anti-human. The elites are looking into the future and thinking they could do without about 90% of the population.

I introduced a Book called "The Transhumanist Wager" on this Forum years ago. Remember watching an interview on Fox with the Guy who wrote it; VERY intelligent, waltzed into being a multi-millionaire via his own intellect (not Daddy's connections). He freaked the Fox Hosts flat out; they had the 'look' in their eyes. Kinda like when those Cops saw the Weiner Laptop. The Book is in Novel form.
And if one believes that it's 'one and done', with no 'soul'/afterlife...if one enjoys life, it would be illogical NOT to purse TransHuman approaches to further enjoy said life. NWS that the form of life Human's now perceive and enjoy, will be radically altered. Into what...who knows. My own opinion...'union' with the Singularity. I.e., absorption into the Universal Energy Reservoir.
"Behold, I will take the wise in their craftiness". Can't beat God. It's Love...or Love's Opposite. That said, the TransHumanists will attempt to (technologically) expand their ability to experience Love; and all Feeling/Perceptive Experience. I have no idea if that is plausible.

I don't know how big the TH Community is, but per that Dude's Novel...if Christians or Religious folk attempt to stand in the TH's path forward...there will be no-holds-barred conflict. It's essentially a fight for life.
"War in Heaven (Philosophical/Scientific/Moral) and on Earth" (conflict from the aforementioned arguments).
Sometimes I think chipping arrowheads and hanging out by the river might have been a better Spiritual way for life. Of course, if something is 'there'...I guess we ought to check it out. Think 'Adam and Eve'.
